WHAT WE DO

HCF Consultancy

HCF helps Gaushalas adopt a sustainable and ethical model of cattle care. Through structured consultancy, shelters receive guidance on nutrition, healthcare, infrastructure, hygiene, and humane management practices. The Foundation also trains teams to create Panchgavya-based products turning cow dung and urine into organic fertilisers, natural cleaners, incense, biogas and wellness items helping Gaushalas become financially self-reliant. Workshops and awareness programs further strengthen community involvement and long-term sustainability.

Our Efforts

HCF provides targeted assistance to genuine Gaushalas that prioritise compassionate care. Support includes medical supplies, fodder, emergency resources, and donor linkages for critical needs such as ambulances, veterinary equipment and medicines. By strengthening shelters across Vrindavan, Delhi NCR, Haryana and surrounding regions, HCF ensures cows receive timely healthcare, improved living conditions and protection during crises.

AWARENESS CAMPS

As important as it is to enhance the study on cow health and milk production, it also takes just a few small acts on our side to take care of these animals. There are several programs hosted by HCF to make people aware of the various ways to take care of stranded cows and other animals and birds. Marked days, like the Earth Day, Environment Day, Gopashtami, Janamashtami, Animal Welfare Week etc, are especially important to the organisation and the cause, where birds and animals play a major role in maintaining the balance of nature whilst being an integral part of it. At various platforms, awareness is passionately imparted on how easy steps like putting out bowls of water outside homes, on balconies and terraces, for birds to quench their thirst especially during hot summer days, are some of the actions that go a long way. Waste management is also advocated to community members where they are urged to keep the fruit and vegetable peels separate, which can be directly fed to the cows.

Promotion of Eco Village Concept

After thorough research and understanding, HCF devised a constructive solution to safeguarding the cattle in villages, creating employment opportunities for the village members, and mainly, uplifting the quality of life of the beneficiaries (animals and humans) by implementing a sustainable model. The plan focusses on setting up a Gaushala in every village that is taken care of by the respective Panchayat, and following are some of the productive, practical and progressive ways that positively impact each village:

The cow and bull dung can be used for biogas, compost, pesticide, as a natural and cost-free component, and remove artificial contents to incorporate organic agriculture. The dung is also used in a productive way at the shelter, instead of dirtying the village, thus aligning with the Swachh Bharat campaign.

Employ the youth of the village to work at the Gaushala, create Panchgavya products (HCF trains team across the country), and market the organic products on various platforms.

The bullocks can be put to good use for daily work, where they can be lent, at nominal charges, to carry materials at distances, in and around the village.

Animal Farm

The HCF Animal Farm in Delhi/NCR offers a natural, compassionate space where rescued animals and people can connect meaningfully. The farm gives cows, goats, hens and dogs a safe sanctuary where they can roam freely and receive proper care. Through curated events, workshops and community experiences, the farm spreads awareness, nurtures empathy and generates funds that directly support HCF’s animal welfare initiatives.
